Introduction

This module in the SeeMe program requires you to create your own advertisement, drawing on what you have learned in modules 1 – 4. This project will allow you to demonstrate your understanding of how the media uses various techniques to sell products by appealing to consumers’ fears and using stereotypes. This project will take several lessons and is best done as a pair or in a small group of three or four students.

When you have finished the creative part of the project, you will be required to pitch your advertisement to the client, ie the company that has commissioned you to create the advertisement. This can be done either in writing or orally. Further details are provided at the end of the module.
